TIFF19 Recap: A Week of Festivities
The Toronto International Film Festival came and went for another year, and we are humbled to be apart of the festival, through a couple of films and as sponsors and guests at some notable events.
As mentioned in our previous blog, there were two short film productions from The Canadian Film Centre we contributed in sound post-production on included in the TIFF lineup: FLOOD and MEASURE. Post City has been a proud long-time sponsor and contributor to the CFC Short Film program. Congratulations to the CFC Directors' Lab alumni Karen Chapman (Measure) and Joseph Amenta (Flood) and their teams. We are proud of our post-sound team for the exceptional work they do on the CFC projects.
TIFF is also a week of festivities across the city. Post City was a proud sponsor of the INSPIRE event (TIFF Opening Party) at Lavelle. We would like to thank Dark Spirit Film, Gavin Downes, the Graceful Network, and the Toronto Film Industry, for having us. Post City was also a sponsor at this years' CFC BBQ, among some big names like Netflix, and it was great to meet with so many other contributors of this great organization. We were invited as guests to Electric Panda Entertainment party, as well as Productivity Media's TIFF party at Spice Route, with a surprise special band set to perform... it was none other than the chart-topping Barenaked Ladies!
